Doctor Lecerf was assigned to the Third Army in 1914.

Medicine has always been his vocation and photography his passion. It will take nearly 500 glass plates from where soldiers come and go from the front lines, where civilians continue to live, where the wounded are treated and the dead are buried with dignity.
