Thank you for this museum that delight young and old.
A breathtaking collection.
We spent the weekend on the spot to see the dynamic representations and really no regrets, except perhaps that it was too short?
A very friendly welcome by enthusiasts, amateurs and more.
Looking forward to coming back soon.

Exceptional visit !!! A superb collection !!! Managed to see a working TigreII, M41 Walker Bulldog, Comet, Churchill, SU100, KV1, JagdTiger, and even a Hummel under one roof is a once in a lifetime chance.
A must for any self-respecting tank fan !!!
Thank you.

This weapon museum. Armored constitutes a formidable history of the evolution of the wheelbarrow tank to the Leclerc tank Let us not forget that the father of the tanks was General Étienne who had encouraged the development of the tank to win the war let us preserve intact this international heritage of the armored vehicle that it is German American French or other continue to maintain these fabulous machines8

A month ago I had the opportunity to visit your museum and I was delighted. You really have a wonderful collection, kept in a very good condition.
But there is a downside. In the WW1 room, there is no mention at all of the British contribution to tank operations; you present the beginning of their history as Franco-French. You "forget" the Battle of Cambrai in November 1917, yet it changed the course of history. Such a chauvinistic, even arrogant attitude is not worthy of a museum in your class! A little more objectivity and humility would only add historical value to that already present in the exhibition.

Superb collection! A big congratulations to all those who work on the restoration of these machines.
Only negative point: visit prohibited to dogs while children take the site for a playground (the cries resonate well in these large halls), and are more harmful for visitors than a dog kept on a leash ....

We come quite often as a neighbor (Challans in Vendée), it is always with a real pleasure not only this magnificent collection but also for the kindness of the R (TM) reception. This year for the first time we followed the guided tour of the reserve: there is much to do! It would be interesting to publish from time to time, on your site, some information and images of the progress of these restoration works. I think we will be returning this year for October. Regards and thank you! Michael

I discovered a beautiful place. I would like to congratulate all the volunteers, employees for the maintenance of these giants of the history of yesterday and today.
All, my filiations to the young guide Adrien. Who made us discover with passion this exceptional site. Being president of the Amicale Gaulliste of the Bouches du Rhone, I was very touched to see the EBR armored vehicle that transported the remains of General De Gaulle to the cemetery of Colombey the two churches on 12 November 1970.
A big congratulations, to the whole team and especially THANKS, to maintain this history. That we must not forget.
It is with great pleasure that I have subscribed the membership fee, to join the ranks of this association which has much merit.
See you soon.

It will be the second time soon that I would have the opportunity to visit your museum.

On the east (Kursk, Stalingrad, karkov) I stood speechless in front of the tanks of the German hall, especially when I saw for the first time a panther, a koenigstiger, or a tiger. These parts are in a state redeemable despite their 70 spring. Congratulations to your museum and to those who care for these collection pieces.

For me, the Armored Museum is as important as the Louvre Museum. Being a big fan of armored vehicles, especially armored vehicles of the Second World War. And I am even more interested in German armored vehicles, very impressive, like the Panzerkampfwagen VI ausf.B Tiger II Armored Museum. The latter alone justifies the reason for such a museum: very rare armored, the Tiger II which are in working order today do not run the streets. The work of the mechanics of the Museum is remarkable, congratulations. As a great admirer of the World War II tanks, I wanted to emphasize the very careful restoration of panzer IV, provided with schürzen "thomas". I have visited 5 times the museum, and one of its strengths is to get rich with materials come from the quarters corners of the world. So, we never get tired :) I have 17 years and my first goes back to my 11 or 12 years, and I think that's where I come from this passion for Armor. A formidable museum, it presents armored vehicles of different nations and wars, ranging from the Scheinder CA1 tank to the T72 recovered in the former East Germany. Moreover, the reconstructions (carrousel) allow us to see these glorious fighter of different nations in motion, which I consider a homage. I wanted to congratulate all the people who helped make the museum work, and thank them for what they do and the happiness of seeing these steel titans rediscovering life. It is an extraordinary museum that must continue the work that it makes, we make dream ...

For the second time (but not the last one), I came to visit this superb Museum of the Armored in Saumur last October. Between the models displayed in the rooms, and those parked outside waiting for refurbishment, it is a real treat. This museum is well laid out, very informative, and very impressive. Congratulations to all these volunteers and enthusiasts who gradually restore the most unusual gear! Only a little regret, especially in the engine room: not being able to hear the noise, or even feel the vibrations that these steel monsters could release in action (apart from your annual day of dynamic presentation of certain armored vehicles). A big thank you for your collaboration, your commitment, and your passion to trace the history of military armored vehicles.
And that your museum will expand in the next few years! He's worth the pain !
