I loved the museum visit, it was lka the second time I went there and I still love it so much, I regret not being able to climb into the King Tiger, elsewhere on this subject, why not as in any other museum offered something like that? for example 150 or more for a tour in kingtiger, ca would make more backgrounds ... on this good continuation

I have been dreaming of visiting this museum for too long (lille 59) for a day, I took advantage of a week with friends who wanted to visit the Loire Valley castles to realize this wish!
in Thésée (120km of Saumur), I came in June to visit this place. I do not regret my visit. very beautiful materials exposed and in an exceptional condition, bravo to the catering teams for this long work.
the fact of being able to approach the tanks is also a plus, no cord at a distance that damages the pleasure as in some museums. can be the signaling that would merit to be more modern. damage also to not be able to see the interior of some representative tanks or very well known, (panther, tiger ...). but these small negatives are very secondary compared to the quality of this museum rich in all points.

As a re-enactor of the 1940 Campaign of France, I thank you for having saved our unfortunate chariots, so often decried but whose crews have shown tremendous courage.

The German tank room is particularly rich and the two "Tigers" are superb. The decoration of the Russian tanks of the WWII is very successful.
The last part on modern tanks deserves better emphasis. The Leopard 2 A5 present is in a corner, which is a pity for a tank of this quality. Naturally, he misses an American Abrams and the British Challenger is all alone in the yard. A room with these tanks side by side could be a very good idea.
